Who we are.
We as the Canadian Powerlifting League (CPL) are a group of athletes committed to the sport. We are the Canadian branch of the IPL, founded in 2014 by Bernice Fuss. We are for the lifters, and we strive to bring quality competitions across the country. CPL has grown to a nation-wide community of lifters, creating a platform where everyone is welcome. CPL memberships are open to all over the age of 13, in any province. We pride ourselves on upholding high standards for our officials, bringing a fair playing field and a friendly environment to our meets. We want to see our members succeed and for athletes to leave the platform excited to step up again!
